Use a confusing maze of logic. Rationalize their behavior, then do whatever they want to. They are a bully.
Leave it alone. Don't rearrange it. Add to it and protect it. It does work. Stop spending elsewhere and replenish it. People over 80, no more taxes. You have paid enough.
I breathe your welfare. There have been threats to close military bases for over 30 years, since I was in the Marine Corps. Locals know this. It is instigated by the same people who claim to save the bases. Its done to scare, gain sentiment, create favoritism and insure votes. I will not let you be threatened again. As a Congressman, there will be no compromising of the military community. It will be respected and developed with the honor our military deserves. Military Personnel Will be awarded major tax considerations, for life, depending on time served. You swore to give your life to protect our freedom, we owe you. Terrorism It is unacceptable. We must retaliate against the country which fosters or allows terrorist activity to fester. A country must be held responsible for its inhabitants. It must police within its borders. If Americans are hurt, we will police it for you, without notice.
Our Downtowns must not die. I will work with local governments to find companies and industries to support our economic needs with regard and respect for our way of life here. We have a strong, honorable foundation from our ancestors. We must grow "up" as well as out.
Farmers made, insured and sustained our State through the early years. We must always offer aid and compromise to those in hard times. It's our way.
We must not undermine the Ecological Balance of our area. Touch & Go airstrips will pollute and destroy our natural resources. The current administration wants to chance pollution along a Canadian pipeline. We cannot take that chance here. Education I will find wasted programs, gain monies and energize our system. There are Federal Programs and Ill take Educators with me to find them. Grade school is a priority. It all starts there.
Afghanistan was the target and Saudi Arabia, where most of the 9/11 terrorist came from. No weapons of mass destruction. Who said the Iraqi people wanted Democracy? Its a religious war for them. Terrorist war is like guerilla war. Whats been learned from the past? Why arent most of our trained troops there? Why do the Reserves and National' Guard make up more than 60% of our fighting force? Is it cheaper and about oil and profiteering? The Republican Administration is out of control and costing American lives.
