The Republican 'Contract with America' .

In 1994, Republican Candidates stood on the Steps of the United States Capitol and presented a contract of promises. 300 Candidates signed this document. One of the provisions the Republicans promised was that those in the U. S. Congress would serve no more than six terms and that Senators would serve no more than two terms.

Among those who signed was Walter B. Jones Jr.

He promised and made a 'Contract with America' that he would not serve more than six terms. In their own words and pledging, and I quote,

"If we break this contract - Throw Us Out".

His six terms are over and he's going back on his word and running for a seventh term. Walter Jones Jr. does not stand by his own conviction

Other Representatives who signed:

Senators include:

Let us take our District back. Let us take our Country back. I will be a Congressman of the People.
